FARRA — The Art of Wearing Art
FARRA began in 2010 in Hong Kong, from the hands of designer Donna LIU — and from an artist's conviction that jewelry should be nothing less than wearable art.
Trained at one of the world's leading design schools, Donna brings to her craft a rare breadth of artistic discipline: she is a skilled ceramicist, a passionate painter and a sculptor at heart. These are not pastimes; they are the wellspring of FARRA's design language. The way a vessel rises on the potter's wheel, the way light settles on a painted surface, the way sculpture balances form and void — all of it flows into every piece FARRA makes. It is why our work has always held a consistently high aesthetic standard: nothing leaves the studio until it honours the eye that shaped it.
The materials follow the same instinct. FARRA is built from nature's most honest treasures — natural gemstones and freshwater pearls, each one selected for its unique character, never mass-produced, never cloned. Set in hand-finished gold-tone frames, every design is original, released in new collections each season: necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings and brooches, made for women who want the feeling of fine jewelry without the formality.
Today, FARRA is a conversation between two generations. Donna is joined by her daughter, Lisa LU, a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York. Where Donna brings depth, artistry and time-honoured refinement, Lisa carries the pulse of contemporary fashion — together, they give every collection the calm of the gallery and the energy of the runway: timeless, and unmistakably now.
FARRA reaches customers around the world. Wherever you are, we hope our pieces find you the way they found us — as small, beautiful reminders that art is not something you visit. It is something you wear.
